Robert J. Bernard papers, 1881-1983 (bulk 1911-1981).

Part of the Claremont Colleges Archives, the collection contains Bernard's papers related to the founding and expansion of the Group Plan of the Claremont Colleges, as well as material related to his personal and civic life. Included are five family Bibles, one with handwritten records and family photographs tipped in, a 19th century botanical/pharmacology book, two honorary gavels inscribed to Bernard, and a typescript of his book, An unfinished dream.
